Juniors & Seniors

JUNIORS!!

We are delighted to share with you that Fulton County Schools will offer students in grade 11 an opportunity to take the ACT during the regular school day on Wednesday, March 13, 2024 at no cost to the student or their family.  To help us in planning for this exciting testing opportunity, students will need to complete an interest survey.  If you are interested in having your 11th grade student take the ACT on March 13, please complete the following survey no later than Friday, January 12, 2024 by 11:59pm.

*The student must complete this survey by logging in with their FCSTU credentials: Junior ACT Interest Survey

Spring Extended Lunch Privilege for Eligible Juniors and Seniors

Extended lunch privilege for the Spring 2024 semester will begin on Tuesday, January 9th. Students should monitor their schedule in Infinite Campus. If approved, your 5th period will say “AHS Anchor Time – Off Campus” on your schedule. If you see this, you must attend a mandatory meeting on Tuesday, January 9th at 12:09pm in the AHS Auditorium.

To get your lunch sticker, you must bring your 2023-2024 AHS Student ID. When you leave campus, you will be required to show your ID with the correct sticker. No exceptions.

Off Campus Virtual or Dual Enrollment

As we begin the Spring 2023 semester, please note that if students have any class period off campus, instructions for uploading the Spring 2023 Consent Form and Waiver can be found on the AHS homepage in the main banner. The link will take you directly to the Microsoft Form where you can download and print the waiver and then scan and upload it. Please note that no digital signatures can be accepted, and no paper copies will be accepted. Stickers may be picked up during your lunch period in the cafeteria from January 3rd-5th during both lunches. Be sure to have your 2023-2024 AHS Student ID. No exceptions.

If you are seeking the extended lunch privilege sticker, that is a different process and instructions for receiving that sticker can be found HERE.

Please contact Andrew Bolin at bolina@fultonschools.org if you have any questions.

A Better 2024−25 FAFSA Form

The FAFSA form is available for short periods of time while we monitor site performance and update the form to provide you with a better experience. Learn more about the 2024–25 FAFSA form or to complete application https://studentaid.gov/h/apply-for-aid/fafsa

Senior Transcript Requests

We are anticipating that final fall semester grades will be posted to transcripts by Friday, 1/12/2024. Counselors will begin processing Common App midyear reports and Scrib orders the week of 1/15/2024.  If your senior applied to a college through Common App, they do not need to make a midyear transcript request. Counselors will automatically submit midyear reports for every senior with an active application in Common App.  Scrib order requests are only for colleges that are not listed in the student's Common App account.

HOPE Calculation Update

Seniors should be able to check HOPE GPA calculation updates by February 15, 2024.
