Qustodio: A New Tool for Families to Monitor and Manage Your Child’s Online Activity

As part of our ongoing efforts to support digital safety, we’re excited to share that Fulton County Schools will launch Qustodio on October 20th, a free app that helps parents monitor and manage their child’s online activity. This tool gives families insight into how students use both district-issued and personal devices.

For district-issued devices:

  • Parents can see how much time their child spends online, which apps are being used, and what searches are conducted during the school day.
  • Families can also set time limits and restrictions outside of normal school hours to encourage healthy screen time habits.

For student personal devices (optional):

  • Parents can choose to install Qustodio on personal devices to monitor usage and set limits at home.
  • Fulton County Schools does not have any visibility or access to data from student or parent/guardian personal devices — that information is visible only to the parent or guardian who installs the app.

Please use this link: qustodio.com/my-school to begin Qustodio.  Please use your Parent Portal email address during the sign-up process.

Help Upgrade the AHS Patio – Support Our Students on Giving Tuesday!

Just a reminder that Giving Tuesday is coming up on December 2! This year, the AHS Foundation is working to raise $15,000 to fund an exciting project — updating the patio behind the cafeteria. The refreshed space will provide a welcoming area for students to gather, study, and enjoy lunch outdoors.

We’d love your support! As a nonprofit organization, donations to the AHS Foundation may be tax-deductible.

Please also check if your employer offers a matching gift program — it’s a great way to double your impact and help us reach our goal even faster!

Special Fundraising Request for AHS Faculty and Staff Holiday Gathering

Dear AHS Community,

Continuing a tradition started four years ago, the AHS Foundation is organizing a special holiday celebration to honor the incredible teachers and staff who dedicate themselves to our students every day. Their commitment, compassion, and hard work deserve to be recognized, and we need your help to make this event truly special.

Many people may not realize that public school budgets often lack dedicated funds for events that honor and celebrate our teachers and staff. Despite the challenges facing the education system, which include high turnover rates in recent years, we are proud that AHS has maintained a strong and stable team. Their continued dedication provides consistent support for our students as they grow in the four key pillars:  Academics, Arts, Athletics, and Altruism.

Due to their continued hard work and dedication, AHS is ranked by Niche.com

We are seeking donations to support a festive holiday party that will bring joy and appreciation to our educators and staff. One hundred percent of the contributions will go towards this event, with any remaining amounts supporting the equivalent end-of-year celebration.

Families who contribute to this campaign will have their names displayed at the holiday gathering and can be confident their generosity makes a meaningful impact.

There are 2 ways to donate today:
