Alpharetta High School Students Run a Printshop: A Business That Prints Success

Walking through the halls of Alpharetta High School, you might notice more than the typical high school curriculum of academics and sports. There’s our student-run business called Printshop, where creativity meets professionalism. With our shining brand-new logo and a fresh commitment to quality, Printshop is more than a project; it’s a legacy in the making. We’re not just about printing flyers or banners; we’re about giving students hands-on experience in running a significant business. From designing logos to managing orders, we are learning the ins and outs of entrepreneurship while serving our school community.

What is Printshop?

Printshop is a fully student-operated printing service that supports clubs, sports teams, and school events. Need posters? Flyers for your club? We have you covered. This initiative has grown from a simple idea into a thriving business model.

Printshop’s Impact on Alpharetta High School

One of our most successful accomplishments was printing banners, posters, and flyers for our Raider Fest at Alpharetta High School. This event had all our clubs, local organizations, and even the mayor of Alpharetta. We printed 20+ designs for our various clubs. Our products helped clubs advertise their impact on Alpharetta High.

This initiative not only enhances school spirit and communication but also gives us real-world business experience—teaching us about customer service, marketing, and financial management.

The Bigger Picture

Printshop is connected to FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America), giving us the chance to earn recognition and awards. The cost of nationals per student is upwards of $1000 USD. Due to this large sum that families must pay for the students, we have all our profits go towards FBLA. This way we can help send more students to nationals to compete.

Design: Bringing Ideas to Life

At Printshop, creativity starts with design. Our dedicated design team works closely with customers to transform ideas into reality. We believe that every idea deserves a design, and our design team ensures that your thoughts and visions come together in a flawless, professional way.

Marketing: Making It Simple and Smart

Behind every great print is a smart marketing strategy. Our marketing team helps customers choose the right size, materials, and pricing for their projects. Our main goal is to make the ordering process as smooth and straightforward as possible, ensuring that every customer feels confident and satisfied with their choices.

Tech & Operations: Keeping It Running

Our tech and operations team is the key to Printshop. They handle payments to keep transactions systematic and hassle-free, maintain our website for easy access, and provide technical support whenever needed. From managing systems to solving tech issues, this team ensures everything runs seamlessly behind the scenes.

Printshop has transformed the way our school community runs by providing a reliable, student-run printing service that supports nearly every aspect of campus life. By combining design, marketing, and operations under one student-led initiative, we can make a profit and give back to our community. Our goal is simple: create high-quality prints for Alpharetta High while building practical skills for the future.

Printshop has transformed the way our school community runs by providing a reliable, student-run printing service that supports nearly every aspect of campus life. They ensure that every organization has the tools to promote its activities effectively.

How to Support Students Facing Academic Pressure & Stress

As we approach the fall, school begins picking up and the weight of different responsibilities can begin to feel overwhelming. Many of our students deal with high levels of school anxiety and academic stress. They are being asked to juggle college level classes, extracurricular activities, sports, clubs, and full social lives. All these things combined can increase anxiety disorders and depression in middle and high school students. This blog will seek to provide helpful information on warning signs of anxiety and depression in your students and ways to help address academic stress. https://summitcounseling.org/how-to-support-students-facing-academic-pressure-stress/
