Attendance Reminders

Students and parents, please remember that attendance matters! If a student will arrive to school late, get signed out early, or miss a full day of school, please make sure to follow attendance procedures found on the AHS Website. This will avoid unexcused absences on the student’s attendance record and potentially any discipline referrals being submitted to administration.

Any questions regarding attendance can be directed to Ms. Alina Johnson (johnsona24@fultonschools.org).

AP Testing Information

Attention students! If you are taking an AP exam in May, please review the following information/resources…

Greetings from Alpharetta High School:

We are excited to announce the upcoming High School Career Expo and Career Fair, scheduled to take place on April 1st and 2nd at Alpharetta High School. This event aims to provide our students with valuable opportunities for career exploration, networking, and community engagement.

The Career Expo will feature a diverse range of activities designed to help students discover various career paths, learn about industry trends, and connect with professionals in different fields. Highlights of the event include:

  1. Career Fair: Companies and organizations from various industries will have the opportunity to showcase their work, discuss career opportunities, and engage with students who are eager to learn more about potential career paths
  2. Career Exploration Workshops: Interactive workshops and sessions will be offered to help students explore different career options, develop essential skills, and gain insights into industry-specific trends and opportunities.
  3. Community Networking: The event will provide a platform for students, educators, parents, and local businesses to come together and foster meaningful connections that support our community's growth and development.

We invite your company to participate in this exciting event by:

  • Setting up a booth at the Career Fair to showcase your organization and engage with students.

AHS FOUNDATION BOARD

The AHS Foundation is a dynamic 501(c)(3) nonprofit serving the entirety of Alpharetta High School.  A fundraising and grantmaking organization, the Foundation supports the four pillars of the school through investments in programming, capital needs and student scholarships.  To that end, the Foundation has provided over $700,000 in funding to AHS and AHS students, and seeks additional Board members to further its mission ahead of the 25th anniversary of AHS in the Fall of 2029.

Parents, grandparents, and guardians of AHS students, as well as members of the community who may have skills that lend themselves to the Foundation’s work, are invited to apply by contacting current AHS Foundation President Katie Reeves at katiereevesreliv@gmail.com or Secretary Megan Boynton at boyntonmpa@gmail.com.
