AHS Foundation & Board Opportunity

The AHS Foundation is a dynamic 501(c)(3) nonprofit serving the entirety of Alpharetta High School. A fundraising and grantmaking organization, the Foundation supports the four pillars of the school through investments in capital needs, programming, student scholarships and teacher support.

Since its inception, the Foundation has provided over $700,000 in funding to AHS and AHS students.   In 2024-25, with generous donations from the community, the Foundation was able to provide:

  • Four academic scholarships;
  • Staff development programming;
  • Support for the Evening of Excellence and International Night;
  • Multiple grants - including but not limited to - an AED at the sports stadium and projector in the arts building; and
  • Staff appreciation events at the holidays and year-end.

Currently, the Foundation is seeking additional Board members to help maintain the Foundation’s momentum. Parents, grandparents, or guardians of AHS students or alumni, as well as members of the community who may have skills related to the Foundation’s work, are invited to learn more at our annual meeting Wednesday, July 16, 2025 from 12-1 p.m. Interested parties may contact AHS Foundation President Katie Reeves at katiereevesreliv@gmail.com or Secretary Megan Boynton at boyntonmpa@gmail.com.
