March Application Fee Waivers – Apply for Free!

Seniors, great news! Our March Application Fee Waivers initiative is back again this year. Throughout the entire month of March, you can apply for free to participating colleges and universities across Georgia.

Georgia Finance Commission partnered with the University System of Georgia, the Technical College System of Georgia, and several private institutions to remove financial barriers and help you confidently pursue your postsecondary plans—whether you're submitting your first applications or applying to back‑up schools

Throughout March, fee waivers will be live on GAfutures.org. Simply select participating institutions and submit your applications without paying an application fee

Learn more and see the full list of participating colleges here:
https://www.gafutures.org/college-planning/apply-to-college/application-fee-waivers/

Honors' Cords

Graduating Seniors with a weighted Cumulative GPA of 88 or above (we cannot round up so a student with an 87.9 will not be eligible) are eligible to wear an honor cord at graduation.

Please check your transcript in Infinite Campus "documents" to determine if the senior has a Weighted Cumulative GPA of 88 or higher. The GPA on the transcript at this time, March 2, has to be 88+- we will not look at current spring semester grades for eligibility. Feel free to email   Boltk@fultonschools.org  if unsure. Do not order a cord unless you are sure your senior met the 88+ Weighted Cumulative GPA as we cannot offer a refund if you order in error.

Please communicate with your parent/student before purchasing as you both received the email.  Student emails were sent to their Fulton County email addresses.

  1. Purchases can be made until March 24, 2026
  2. No refunds will be given
  3. Your student ID number MUST be entered at the time of purchase
    1. Cord pick-up dates and times will be determined later.

Cord Prices:

  • Cord amount - $10.00
  • No Refunds - Please verify that your senior has an 88 or higher weighted Cumulative GPA before purchasing.

Order on OSP - find "Grad Honor Cords (Suma Cum Laude, Magna Cum Laude, Cum Laude)".

*Email Ms. Bolt at  Boltk@fultonschools.org  with any questions.
