AHS Indoor Percussion team are officially WGI WORLD CHAMPIONS!

In an extraordinary debut on the world stage with their competitive show, “To Listen is to Love”, the Alpharetta High School Raiders Indoor Percussion team has officially been named WGI Scholastic A World Champions, earning an astonishing 97.850, the second-highest score ever recorded in Scholastic A Division history.

Even more remarkable, this historic victory came during the ensemble’s first-ever appearance at the WGI World Championships, making the Raiders’ achievement one of the most impressive breakout performances in the event’s history.

The championship journey began in the summer of 2025, fueled by dedication, discipline, and a relentless pursuit of excellence. That hard work culminated in a performance for the history books at the WGI World Championships in Dayton, Ohio, where the Raiders claimed the world title against top programs from around the globe.

Laws of Life Essay Competition Announcement

The results are IN for the Rotary-sponsored Laws of Life Essay Competition. This year, 139 essays across 59 school partners are spotlighted as school-level winners. Every one of the 28,430 essays written statewide reflected on personal values, shared powerful stories, and inspired many Georgia Rotarians.  However, one essay from Alpharetta High School has been declared our school-wide winner, so please join me in congratulating 9th grader Susie Dai from Mrs. Hoff’s class.  Susie will receive a certificate and a $50 scholarship for being our school-wide winner.  Congratulations Susie!

We also want to CONGRATULATE those students who earned an Honorable Mention from the Rotary Club.  These students will receive a special certificate from the Rotary Club.

Please help us celebrate the following teachers and students:

From Mrs. Green’s Class-

  • Toni Dayo

From Ms. Huang’s Class-

  • Ameera Shabazz

From Ms. Brown’s Class-

AHSF Graduation Seat Auction

Senior Parents,

Graduation is almost here, and we know how meaningful this season is for you and your family.

The Alpharetta High School Foundation is excited to once again offer something special this year!

The 2026 Graduation Seat Auction gives you the opportunity to secure front row seating for a truly memorable moment.

Only five rows are available, with one winning family per row. If being as close as possible when your senior walks the stage matters to you, this is your opportunity.

Reserved Row Details:

Row 1: 12 seats
Row 2: 12 seats
Row 3: 13 seats
Row 4: 14 seats
Row 5: 15 seats

Please note that reserved seating does not increase your senior’s standard 12 ticket allotment. If additional seating is needed, families will need to coordinate directly with other senior families.

How the Auction Works

Submit your bid using the link below. You will need your contact information, your senior’s name, and your bid amount.

The five winning families will be announced by Saturday, May 2.

Why It Matters

Every dollar raised goes directly back to AHS. The Foundation invests an average of $50,000 each year into AHS, including five scholarships. Since 2009, over $700,000 has been given back to support our students and school community.

This is a once in a lifetime moment. We hope to help make it even more special.
