2021-2022 AHS PTSA Final Wrap

Thank you to all the Raider Nation families for your support of the AHS PTSA. Your membership makes a difference at Raider Nation. The goal of the Alpharetta High School PTSA is to collaborate, to be a resource for our parents, teachers, and students in supporting every student at Alpharetta High School.  The Board is proud to summarize our key activities with thanks and gratitude to the supporters that made this a reality for Raider Nation.

PTSA Mini-Grant Support for various staff submitted grants to support school needs. With the PTSA partnership with the Foundation we were able to fund these staff grant requests. Total mini grant awarded $21,964.00!

PTSA Program Support: PTSA was able to continue our 911 flag dedication on Webb Bridge Road, fund the monthly staff recognition awards and Teacher/Staff of the Year awards, continue our support for Fine Arts through our Reflections Art submissions, Scholarship & Awards, Dear Me Letters, Counseling Center support, ENN and Exceptional Children’s Week.

PTSA Volunteer Support: PTSA was able to bring back the important volunteers this fall to Raider Nation - Media Center, Front Office, Attendance Office, Hospitality support, testing, textbook support and more. Thank you to all that helped out. We hope that you to be a part of the school community and consider giving your time next year!

PTSA Hospitality Support: Lead by dedicated volunteers, Hospitality is an important effort to bring unique events to AHS for students and staff bringing our community together. These events include Teacher Appreciation Week, Faculty school wide events, Student Honors Night, Pre-Planning lunch, Student snack day celebrations and more.

Senior Committee: Thanks to the parent volunteers who worked hard to make events special for the Class of 2022: Tailgate & March, snacks, t-shirts, yard signs, breakfast, luncheon, silver envelopes, pennants, senior games, baccalaureate, and a senior celebration! Bringing back many of our favorites for the AHS Senior Class! Congratulations to our Senior Class of 2022 – Good luck on your upcoming adventures!

In closing, the AHS PTSA Board hopes our Raider Nation families have a relaxing and restful summer. We look forward to the return to school in the fall welcoming the Class of 2026 and celebrating the Class of 2023. We plan to continue with our mission moving forward next year, please consider supporting us with your membership in 2022-2023!
